Jewelry Designs From Previous Works

Most of our work is one of a kind; however, we can customize a similar piece on request.

All jewelry is handcrafted, so there will be some subtle differences, but we can usually reproduce a similar piece with slight modification in gemstone or gemstone shape/cut. Please allow for these slight variations, as no two pieces of handmade jewelry can be identical.

If the piece cannot be recreated due to unavailability of a similar stone, we will contact you to discuss alternatives. You may cancel the order at that time if our suggestions for alternatives are not acceptable!

Custom Jewelry Designs

We will work with you to design a completely new piece using stones or metal of your choice. 

To discuss a variation of any piece, call Sandi or send an email .  Include your phone number in the email and a convenient time for Sandi to call if you would like to discuss this in detail instead of through emails.

The second phase of the process begins after we have a clear understanding of your desires.

At that point, we'll create a design, or designs, using digital photos of the actual (or sample) stones and a computer graphics program.

Custom Design Order Process

Design, Creation and Delivery

There are five phases to ordering a custom designed piece of jewelry.

  Phase I − A discussion about the piece, the design style, stones and metals to be used.

  Phase II − Our creation of the piece based on our discussion.

  Phase III  − Your review of a photograph and approval of the design.

  Phase IV  − Final assembly and delivery of your design.

  Phase V  − Completed when you see, and approve, the example design.

The custom order process for a new jewelry design starts with your email or phone call. During this first phase we ask you to tell us something about the jewelry you want (the type, stones, metal or anything else important to you). We'll help you in the design process by asking questions and making suggestions so the final design is what you have envisioned.

This process usually involves several phone conversations or emails. We'll make sure we cover the stones, sizing of the piece, metals, finish, general design style, weight of the finished piece and an estimated price and delivery schedule.

When the design is ready, we'll send you an email with a link to a private page on our website so you can see pictures of the design and approve it or request modifications.

When the piece is completed, you will be contacted to arrange delivery.

Creating a custom designed piece is not an overnight process. Please be advised that it may take a couple of weeks to produce the piece that you desire. Quality cannot be rushed.

Our Responsibility

Part of our responsibility is to offer guidance about design, size, weight, stones and metals so the piece is not only comfortable to wear, but one that receives compliments every time you wear it and becomes one of your favorites pieces.

Part of this responsibility is offering alternative suggestions to ensure that your custom piece is one that you may hand down from one generation to another; something that is missing in a mass-produced jewelry market.

For instance, if you have asked for a pair of earrings with specific stones in a certain size we would warn you if that would result in very heavy earrings and suggest an alternative for the stone or its size.
